Rescued animals July

July 14th - Squirrel monkeys rescued from Polish breeding farm

Malpa, Prymas and Sajmiri are three of the in total 280 animals that were rescued from an illegal Polish breeding farm. Multiple parties helped finalising the rescue, including Polish Poznan Zoo. In the past we’ve outplaced multiple Common Marmosets and Cotton-Top Tamarins at Poznan Zoo. These three ladies are more than welcome at AAP and we will look after them until a permanent home is found.

Even though close to all animals have been rescued, some still await their new future. Until then, Poznan Zoo has taken them into care and will act as a sanctuary on their behalf. When a new home comes up, they too will be outplaced.
