Biff and Ufi, a male and a female, came to AAP early in 2010. Both animals came from a so-called 'care-grower' in the Netherlands, who stopped with his business for health reasons and asked for the AAP to take care of these two animals.

Biff and Ufi in Spain In 2007 AAP had already taken care of four dingo puppies from this pair. The puppies were sold, but were also soon abandoned by their new owners because they had come to the conclusion that a dingo is not a house pet (anymore). The four puppies were then relocated to Plopsa Coo in Belgium. AAP found a new home for Biff and Ufi at Abentura Karpin, a park in northern Spain. In 2008, AAP had already relocated two porcupines to this park that is characterized by large outdoor areas. And... space is precisely what the Dingo’s need! The dingo is a wild dog from Australia who likely descended from the Indian steppe wolf. They were probably brought to Australia as pets about 5000 years ago. Escapees have however turned wild and have now developed a lifestyle similar to that of wolves. Dingo’s are much smaller than wolves and have the weight of a medium sized dog (10-20 kilo’s).
