Blüme is a striped skunk female who was found on a street in Germany on July 29, 2010. Initially, she was sheltered some time by Tierheim Berlin, a shelter AAP regularly works with and from where Blüme finally arrived at AAP.
The French Zoo Spaycific has in recent years taken in many animals from AAP: white-headed marmosets, coatis, degus, raccoons, Siberian Chipmunk, Japanese squirrels and skunks.
Because the male skunk of Spaycific Zoo had died earlier this year, they were looking for new companionship for the now lonely female. A good opportunity for Blüme. Since then, the two females have become great riends.
