1 caucasian squirrel to Zoo Halle, Germany

Daha, a female caucasian squirrel, came to AAP at the beginning of 2011, after being kept as a pet in a very small cage. We are very happy to have found a home for her in the zoo of Halle (Germany), where she could live together with another female. In 2006 we had outplaced a male and female - Urup and Elena - to Halle, and last year the male died of very old age. So Daha was supposed to be introduced to Elena. It is always up to the animals if this will actually work, and fortunately they got along fine!
