Prevention: objective

AAP aims to prevent harm being done to the welfare of non-domesticated exotic animals by:

  • seeking to reduce the numbers of exotic animals being kept as pets or being used in the entertainment business or for biomedical research anywhere in Europe.
  • fighting to secure animal welfare with those that still keep non-domesticated exotic animals, such as laboratories, individuals, zoos and shelters.
