Relocation: policy

At the sanctuary of AAP in Almere we try to get the animals reacquainted to a life that is as natural as possible, most often by placing them amidst peer groups.
Once the animals have settled down the eventual aim is to relocate them  to suitable addresses where they can spend the rest of their lives under good circumstances.
Frequently renowned animal parks in the Netherlands as well as in other countries prove to be suitable new home for the rehabilitated animals.

Like this, not only is good permanent housing found for animals that were cared for at AAP temporarily, but also the openings created at AAP by the departure of these animals, can be used for sheltering new animals that desperately need our help. By means of this procedure AAP can bring about its main goal: to help as many animals as possible to a better future!
